For many clients, the process begins with an evaluation of the current financial situation, which includes a comprehensive review of all financial data including tax returns, sources of current and future income, assets and liabilities in the marital estate, spending patterns and expenses of both parties, current and expected financial support for children. We equip you with the information you need to make decisions that optimize the short and long term well-being of you and your family.

One of the key benefits we bring to the process is setting and managing clients’ expectations about the realities of their priorities and desired outcomes. We provide an analysis of the client’s pre-divorce financial landscape, including all sources of income (current and deferred), assets, and liabilities. We work with clients to evaluate the options for the division of assets, alimony and child support payments, and longevity of settlement scenarios. Included in our settlement analyses are tax implications, cash flow projections, and options for protecting assets and cash flow post judgment such as the use of QDROs and insurance policies.
We offer post judgment support to ensure the required transactions are completed in a timely manner, such as transferring of accounts, titles, deeds, and liabilities. We facilitate real estate sales and refinancings, beneficiary changes, QDRO executions. For areas outside our purview, we refer our clients to professionals within our network, such as realtors, mortgage brokers, real estate appraisers, financial planners, investment advisors, CPAs and tax preparers.
